Your Role:

  • Coordinating truck movements on the job site
  • Liaising with customers and key stakeholders
  • Working closely with our General Manager daily
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient project operations
  • Representing Lantrak with professionalism and integrity
  • Accommodating customer requirements and maintaining high operational standards

The opportunity:

We are seeking an individual to manage and supervise one of Lantrak’s sites in the West suburbs. The ideal candidate has earthworks experience and is capable of effectively managing a diverse team while treating them with respect. We are looking for someone who shows confidence and strength and is in control. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of all site operators, visitors and contractors
  • Traffic management of all plant and machinery entering and leaving the site
  • Coordination and control of the disposal of material on site.
  • Promotion of a strong safety-conscious culture with an emphasis on zero tolerance for unsafe work practices.
  • Ensure the site is maintained in a tidy, safe, and hazard-free manner.
  • Perform daily pre-start checks prior to the operation of all site plant equipment.
  • Present an approachable, proactive leader to all stakeholders.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to all customers and contractors entering the site.
  • Ensure that daily machine use is recorded as per site procedure.
  • Supervise and operate plant equipment ensuring use is following policies and procedures.
  • Control all movement, distribution, and testing of all material processed at the site.
  • Inspect loads and ensure correct materials are logged.
  • Report and manage all site costs accurately in the site diary.

About you: 

  • Material Knowledge – ability to identify fill material;
  • Strong awareness of compaction methods with earthmoving equipment to achieve project specifications;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and positively with internal and external stakeholders
